For more than thirty years, Laboratorio Paravicini has created hand-decorated ceramics that have become a reference point for Italian craftsmanship internationally - fantastical, irreverent, painstakingly made, and unmistakably its own. What began as Costanza Paravicini's experiment has evolved into a family enterprise now shaped by the next generation.
During ALTA Odyssey, the doors of the working atelier open privately to ALTA members and special invitees.
We will join Costanza Paravicini and her daughters inside the rooms where the collections are conceived and made, sitting with the artists at work and discovering the extraordinary process behind each piece.
But this is also a story about building.
About turning creative instinct into an enduring business, handing a creative language from one generation to another, and remaining relevant without relinquishing character. With the ladies of Paravicini, we will illuminate the art of building value around something that, by its very nature, cannot - and perhaps should not - be infinitely scaled.
